Kildare-based singer-songwriter Col Patterson has recently released his latest single, Online Adventure. The track is a sublime 80’s sounding masterpiece with plenty of tips of the hat to mid 80’s synth giants. The song has a lyrical conversation about where we were then and where we are now, but wraps it into an upbeat melodic masterpiece.
The song is a perfect blend of nostalgia and modernity, with its 80’s inspired sound and contemporary lyrics. The track’s upbeat melody and catchy lyrics make it a perfect addition to any playlist.
If you’re a fan of 80’s music, then you’ll definitely want to give Online Adventure a listen. It’s a great example of how modern music can be inspired by the past while still sounding fresh and new.
Not Good for Me is the 4th single from the Meath Duo and has a vintage R&B heart mixed with Rock, Pop and Soul and explores the inner conflict of being drawn to someone who makes you feel alive but also hurts you; a person who is a bad influence yet you struggle to break free because of their draw.

Rise is about breaking away from the constraints that hold you and finally becoming liberated and free. It begins, ‘You make the rules and I stand in line like a good girl… I pay you in full then you hold out your hand for more ’ guided by a tense web of guitar motifs. The song is a defiant dawning that enough is enough! The chorus is an upbeat charge forward, bolting out of the traps… It’s time to get away.
Rise follows the successful debut by the band with ‘Liar Liar’, which Hot Press Magazine described as:
".. a culmination of vintage blues and classic rock with a modern edge, cementing the forceful duo as an act to watch."
And RGM Magazine…
"..a deliciously dark debut"
It received play on Irish & UK stations RTE (Radio1, 2XM), Classic hits, Highland Radio, LMFM, Dublin City FM, KCLR, Belter UK etc and others.
